- Commission
- An arrangement where a buyer pays an artist to create a new, original artwork to specific requirements.

- Human Verified
- A trust designation awarded to artists who have provided confirmed real-person identity, portfolio documentation, studio evidence, and process documentation.

- Mixed Media
- Artwork that incorporates more than one medium or material in a single piece, such as collage, paint, ink, found objects, and textile.

- Original Artwork
- A one-of-a-kind work created by an artist's own hand, as distinct from reproductions, prints, or AI-generated images.
P
- Plein Air
- French for 'open air.' Painting done outdoors on location, directly from the subject rather than from photographs or studio reference.
- Provenance
- The documented history of an artwork: who created it, when, with what materials, and its ownership chain from creation to present.
