Description

Fourth painting in the Red Series, exploring urban memory through color field and physical gesture. The red ground was laid in three sessions over two weeks. The black scraping and surface work took one long afternoon. The yellow was added last, almost as an argument.

Creation Notes

Acrylic on primed canvas. Applied by brush, roller, and palette knife. Scraped back with metal spatula while wet. No digital tools used at any stage of production.
